About · Coastal Bay Digital

Hi, I'm Aaron. I build the whole thing.

Owner, designer, developer, and the person who answers the phone. Coastal Bay Digital is one guy in Sussex County, Delaware, hand-coding websites and software for home-service pros — anywhere in the country.

That’s me. Not a stock photo, not a team page.

How this started

One business said yes. Then the rest did.

I started Coastal Bay Digital in 2020 with a family business, which sounds like an easy first client and is actually the hardest one there is. You can’t hide behind a contract when you have to see them at dinner. So I did it properly: rebuilt the website, then the ads, then the software their office and their installers now run on every day.

Every client since has been a stranger. Someone who found the work, poked at it, called a reference, and decided to hand a young guy from Delaware something as important as where their next month’s jobs come from. Electricians. Groomers. Contractors. Storage companies.

I don’t take that lightly, and I’m not going to pretend it’s just a website. For a home-service business it’s the thing standing between a homeowner at 9pm and somebody else’s phone number. I’d rather stay up late getting that exactly right than run a bigger shop that gets it mostly right.

Let’s just say it out loud

What you’re probably thinking.

You’re about to trust somebody with the front door of your business. You should have questions. Here are the three I get most, answered the way I’d answer them on the phone.

“You’re young.”

I am. I’d rather you judge the work than the birthday. Every site in my portfolio is live right now — open them on your phone, watch how fast they load, then go open your current site next to them. That comparison is the whole pitch.

“You’re one person.”

Also true, and it’s the point. Nothing gets lost between a salesperson who promised it and a developer who never heard about it. The tradeoff is honest: I take on a handful of clients at a time, so if I’m booked I’ll tell you straight instead of stacking you in a queue.

“What if you disappear?”

Fair — plenty of people have been burned by a guy who built a site and vanished. You own your domain and your site. I hand over everything, I don’t hold your business hostage, and my number is on this page rather than buried behind a form.

How I work

No office. No account managers. No layers.

01

You get me. Every time.

No account manager, no junior handoff, no ticket queue. The person you talk to on day one is the person writing the code on day forty — and the person who picks up when something breaks two years later.

02

The details nobody bills for.

The bit of layout shift you’d never name but would feel. The tappable phone number on an old Android. The form that still works with autofill off. Nobody asks for these. Everybody notices when they’re missing.

03

Small on purpose.

No office, no overhead, nobody to feed but the work. That’s why a hand-coded site costs what an agency charges for a template — and why I’d rather take a few clients seriously than a lot of them badly.

Why hand-coded

Templates are for tourists.

Most agencies drag pre-made blocks around WordPress and hand every client the same slow, bloated site. I write every line myself — so yours loads first, ranks higher, never breaks, and can’t be cloned with the same $59 theme.

No WordPress. Ever.

    Tell me your trade

One quick conversation. I learn your work, your jobs, and what a win actually looks like for you.

  • 02

    I hand-build it

Every line written by hand — no template, no page-builder. Designed to load fast, rank, and book jobs.

  • 03

    One flat price

Half down to begin, the rest at launch. One flat rate every three years, and never a monthly subscription.

No gatekeeper — that rings my pocket.

Call it with a question about your site, your ads, or something a different company built that you’re stuck with. I’ll tell you what I’d do even if the answer is that you don’t need me.
